The Performance45 Coaching Programme provides learners with the direction, skills, and knowledge needed to successfully assess and adjust their individual behaviours, habits, and performance in both a personal and occupational setting. 

By addressing mental health, work routines, and obstructive habits the Performance45 Coaching Programme challenges the learner to ask themselves ‘am I working to my best ability?’ And supports learners with establishing tailored plans to self-improve and achieve.

With guidance from the Performance45 Team and by promoting mindfulness practices, the programme increases an individual’s ability to self-assess, regulate emotions, and decreases stress, anxiety, and depression.

Aims & Objectives:

Establish what success means to you and determine a plan for change.

  • Maximise Your Health:

Understand the unproductive thoughts and habits that hinder your performance.

  • Strengthen Relationships:

Understand the importance of sustainable relationships and your behavioural impact.

  • Overcome Obstacles:

Understand how to intercept the after-effects of stress and control challenges.


  • The courses assessment criteria consists of online journals and evidence-based documentation.
  • Learner participation will be guided and the progress is tracked.
  • The Performance45 Coaching Programme is graded on a basic pass [P] or fail [F] system. 

Learning Materials:

We include a variety of learning materials and resources as part of the Performance45 service.

These materials will include Unit Presentations, Textbooks, Made Simple Guides, Case Studies, and Reading Lists.

Furthermore, we are always developing our course resources to enhance our learner experience.

Course Units:

There is a Learning Unit and 5 Core Units to complete as part of the Performance45 course.

Learning Unit:

This Unit aims to promote the importance of long-term learning in relation to improving our performance on a personal and occupational level.

  • Friction Points.

1. Mind Unit:

By studying topics such as stress management and self-worth, the learner will gain valuable insight and knowledge into keeping a healthy functioning mind, and how to cope well under pressure.

Mind Unit Breakdown:

  • Managing Stress.
  • The Importance of Wellness & Your Personal Relationships.
  • PMA – Positive Mental Attitude.
  • Building A Positive Vision of Yourself.
  • Self-Perception and Achieving Your Goals.

2. Character Unit:

The aim of this unit is to provide the learner with the necessary skills needed for confident speaking, listening, and character building.

Character Unit Breakdown:

  • Self-Confidence and Understanding the Importance.
  • Understanding Empathy & the Link to Active Listening.
  • Listening and Speaking with Confidence.

3. Obstacles Unit:

The aim of this unit is to provide the learner with an understanding of how to properly overcome obstacles they may encounter in their day-to-day life, and how they can use these negative experiences to benefit their progression towards success.

Obstacles Unit Breakdown:

  • Negative Relationships.
  • Failure and its Role in Personal Achievement. 
  • Dealing With Change.

4. Body Unit:

The aim of this unit is to provide the learner with an understanding of how physical wellness can improve their performance.

  • Sleep & Productivity.
  • The Science Behind Exercise.
  • Meditation & Yoga: The Basics.

5. Performance45 in Practice Unit:

The aim of this unit is to provide the learner with the activities, processes, and practices that aim to improve their daily living and enhance their personal performance throughout their lives. This unit looks at implementing Body, Mind, Character, and Obstacles into practice.
